South East Idaho VW was organized with the intent of
gathering people together that have a common interest in Volkswagens. We
are open to any kind of VW, from Bug to bus, high performance customs to
Bone stock, show winner to rust buckets, Water to air cooled, the
only thing we ask is to leave any attitudes at home.

We started out with 4-5 regulars in the Spring of 2000 by having a
BBQ and hanging out. Then an ad
was run in the paper, and we starting out with passing out flyers. Soon we had 15-20 people on our list as
being interested in our club.
During the past Summer we attended Bugg Fest, and the Peach day shows in
Utah. We now have gather between 15 to 20 people in the area, and are
adding more all the time. Later in
the year we decided to start meeting at Schklotsky’s Deli in Pocatello, and hope
when the weather gets nice again to make it a regular hang out. The conditions
of our cars are from "beaters"
to “Killer Rides." We also do not charge for membership, just show up
at the hangout twice, or post on our forum twice, and your
in! And
if you happen to live in the Pocatello Area, don't be surprised to find a flyer
on your windshield someday!
